List of documents required for a residence permit in Hungary on the basis of real estate purchase

The documents are provided in the form of both usual and apostilled copies. All necessary translations will be done for you by our company (translation services are included in the price). You should have the originals of documents during the visits to the Hungarian consulate, and in Hungary.

From the applicant side the following personal documents are required:

  1. Travel passport (all pages)
  2. Domestic passport (all pages)
  3. Insurance policy for 1 year
  4. Notary certification of the extension of the insurance policy in 1 year
  5. Statement of income or dividends received statement, or income from business
  6. In case of providing:
    • Statement of income – Employer statement of possibility to work remotely;
    • Dividends received statement – The proof of the grounds for the receipt of dividends;
    • Statement of income from business – The documents confirming the connection between the Applicant and this business.
  7. Bank statement of state at account
  8. Bank statement of flow of funds on an account for the last 6 months
  9. Certificate of ownership of real estate in Hungary
  10. Tax declaration for the last year
  11. Documents confirming the existence of moveable and immoveable property on the territory of other countries
  12. Marriage certificate (if any)
  13. Birth certificates of children (if any)
  14. Certificate of no criminal record on the territory of the permanent residence
  15. Certificate of no criminal record on the territory of Hungary
