First extension of residence permit
German residence of this type is for the first time valid for 1 year.
For the successful extension of residence permit, the company that served as a basis for registration of a residence permit should actively operate and follow the business plan declared at registration of a residence permit during the validity period of the residence permit.
While meeting all necessary criteria, residence permit shall be extended for a period of 2 years.
Granting German permanent residence
At the end of the third year from the date of company registration the re-inspection of the company and a detailed analysis of its activities is carried out.
If the company during the first three years has successfully lead its activity, and its activity still corresponds to the previously declared business plan, and the resident, the owner of the company, through the company profits meets the self-sufficiency criteria, he has the right to apply for permanent residence in Germany.
